I dont know how to start...but my day never starts without this one lazy cat..who is witty, cool, fat..oh forget the adjectives...Garfield is the BEST!
The day I dont get to meet this fellow in my morning newspaper, my day or least my morning is ruined. I am addicted to this kitty, Garfield does to me what morning cup of tea of coffee does for some people..yup he is my dose of caffeine.
I remember my brother was the one to have started this obsession with me. He used to teach me to paint and sketch and guess what was his favourite cartoon character to paint, ofcourse Garfield! And I soon followed.
I have heard, the creator of Garfield, Jim Davis, has a pet dog and not a cat. Surprising, I really admire the way he has shaped the characters of Odie and ofcourse the good looking hunk John ;) ha ha ha
I feel we love Garfield coz he is so much like us. He loves to eat and sleep! This cat really bowled me over with its wit. He is just too sharp n quick witted. N you know why he loves Pooky his teddy bear? Because he doesnt have to share his food and blanket with him...
